About Shay

Shay Ricks is a native Idahoan with deep and historical ties to Southeast Idaho.

Shay began selling real estate in 2008. His personal real estate experiences include owning and managing rental properties, buying homes at auction, hard money borrowing, rehabbing homes, obtaining quiet-title and of course; helping others buy and sell. Shay is a proficient negotiator who regularly helps his clients sell at higher prices. Shay protects his clients throughout the transaction by helping them navigate stressful situations such as inspection and appraisal contingencies.

Shay holds a bachelors degree in business finance from Brigham Young University - Idaho. He worked at The Bank of Commerce for seven years. His most recent position included responsibilities in audit and compliance.

Shay was elected and currently serves as a School Board Trustee for Idaho Falls School District 91.

Shay is married and is the father of three children.
